About Kimberly
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Q) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Before becoming a therapist, I followed a different professional path—one that shifted profoundly after experiencing personal loss. That experience changed how I understand suffering, resilience, and the quiet ways people carry pain. It also moved me to pursue psychotherapy, with the intention of offering empathy, presence, and understanding shaped by both training and lived experience.

At the core of my work is helping clients feel truly seen. I care deeply about knowing your story—not just what happened, but how your experiences have shaped your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and ways of relating. I am continually learning from the individuals I work with, whose experiences deepen my understanding of the human mind, attachment, and relational patterns. Psychotherapy, to me, is a reciprocal process of reflection and growth.

My work is grounded in a strong academic foundation. I hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, where I completed a minor in Buddhism, Psychology, and Mental Health—an interdisciplinary program that continues to inform my approach through its emphasis on mindfulness, meaning-making, and a relational and culturally attuned understanding of human experience. I also hold a Master’s in Counselling Psychology. My work integrates Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Attachment Theory, with a focus on mindfulness, compassion, and presence.

I hold deep respect for the trust clients place in me and consider it a privilege to be entrusted with their experiences. You are warmly invited to take the first step and book a complimentary consultation.
